Villa Nobile
(sleeps 12 to 18 people, pool)

Villa Location
Villa Nobile is totally private, surrounded by gardens. You access the estate through a remote controlled gate and follow a cypress lined driveway to the entrance of the villa. A small Tuscan village nestles right outside the property. You can walk to some shops, a grocery store and a cafe. It is just a few minutes to the fascinating historical medieval center that sits on the next hilltop (you have wonderful views of it from the villa). A larger town, Sinalunga is minutes away and has more stores as well as some interesting buildings (Collegiata, Ghibellin tower, Pretorio Palace) and art treasures.

Local Area
Villa Nobile is ideally located in a triangle formed by the cities of Arezzo, Cortona, and Siena and close to the famed wine regions of Montepulciano and Montalcino. Cortona is closest, about half an hour away. Here you can wander through the winding medieval streets, admire the ancient palazzi and enjoy the breathtaking views from the ramparts of the city walls. Precious gold and bronze treasures can be seen at the Etruscan museum. The Chiesa di San Francesco is one of many churches you can visit. Cortona features the popular Tuscan Sun Festival and plentiful offerings of outdoor theater, musical performances, and opera. Lake Trasimeno is half an hour away from the villa and offers great views as well as water sports.

Owner Recommended Restaurant
La Tavernetta, in Lucignano; Ristorante Osteria delle Grotte in Sinalunga; Ristorante l'Opera in Betolle.
